SUPERSIZE ME

Super Size Me is a 2004 documentary film written, produced, directed by, and starring by Morgan Spurlock, an American independent filmmaker.
PLOT SUMMARY: Why are Americans so fat? Find out in Supersize me: What would happen if you ate only fat food for an entire month? During 30 days Spurlock limits himself to only eat McDonald´s food. The film documents this lifestyle’s drastic effects on Spurlock’s physical and psychological well-being, and explores the fast food industry which encourages poor nutrition for its own profit. During the film, Spurlock ate at McDonald’s restaurants three times per day with 3 simple rules:
1)No options: he could only eat what was available (water included!);
2)No supersizing unless offered;
3)No excuses: he had to eat every item on the menu at least once;
As a result, Spurlock gained 11kg, a 13% body mass increase, and experienced mood swings, sexual dysfunction, and liver damage. It took Spurlock fourteen months to lose the weight he gained.
The film also explores the horror of American school lunch programmes, declining health and physical education and addictions.
